The above quote resonates with me because I once had a friend crying next to me because of a heartbreak. But I didn't know what to do. Should I hug her? Or what should I do? In the end, I only sat there like an idiot, feeling totally useless and helpless.

On Sat, 24 Oct, my mother fainted at a cross junction. Fortunately, everything else that happened later was a blessing.

Two young gentlemen were quick to offer their assistance. They carried her aside and applied first aid on her. Despite profuse bleeding from the head, they didn't once hesitate to apply pressure on the wound, with their bare hands. One of the gentlemen waited for the bleeding to stop before leaving and the other stayed back till the ambulance arrived.
 
The kindness didn't stop there. The ambulance was prompt to respond. And the hospital staff even delivered my mother’s medicine right to her doorstep, when we left without it because she had them at home.
 
There is much good out there and it warms my heart. God bless kind souls with ready hands!
